ABIA STATE: IKPEAZU’S FORMER SPECIAL ADVISER DUMPS PDP, CROSS CARPETS TO APC



The implosion in Abia State PDP seems to be increasing everyday, as another prominent Umuahia son and former Special Adviser to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu officially abandons his former boss and embraces APC.

Chief Emmanuel Egwu popularly known as Ebekwo and former SA to Governor Ikpeazu formally moved over to All Progress Congress (APC) today in a well attended event at his resident located outskirt of Umuahia town in Abia State. The event which was well attended had prominent APC members in attendance. The prominent members included, Honorable Acho Obioma, Macot Uzor Kalu, Ikechukwu Apugo and various other recognized individuals. The leadership of APC in Umuahia North were not left out of the event as it was their duty to register the new convert.

During the speech of Chief Emmanuel Egwu after he was formally received, he described the period of his association with PDP as wallowing in darkness. He went on to say that after he studied the blueprint of PDP, he discovered they do not have a plan for the people of Abia State and Nigeria.

In the case of APC, Chief Egwu described the party as a progressive party and the party at the center which will benefit his people. He stated that his reason for joining the party is because they are progressive and through the party he can attract good things for his people. He want on to promise that he will be loyal to the leadership of the party and he will contribute immensely for the party to move to higher heights.
