Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force
[NPF] has re-arrested Mr Ifeanyi Dike, the fleeing suspected ritual
killer who allegedly raped and killed an 8-year-old girl in Rivers
State.
The Rivers State Police Command confirmed that he is currently under secure arrests on Friday.
The Rivers State Police Commissioner, Zaki Ahmed, said that the suspect was nabbed in Jos, Plateau State. He was arrested by men of Special Anti-Robbery Squad in the state early Friday hours.
The seemingly unrepentant Ifeanyi Dike
was arrested after he broke into the home of a citizen and stabbed him
during a robbery incident. It was gathered that the Rivers
Command is currently working with the Plateau State Counterpart to bring
him back to Port Harcourt for prosecution.
It was gathered, however, that the Plateau Police Command might retain him until after prosecution of the current crime. After that he will then proceed to River State to face Rape and Murder charges.
